Copyright has always been a big issue for the Music Industry.Copyright is needed so that people cannot steal other people's work and effort.In this case it is important for the Music Industry so other artists cannot copy or steal a song without a permission.
We have to write an e-mail to the music company so they can let us use the song we've chosen to make a music video:
'Dear Sir/Madam
I am an A2 student at Lewes Sixth Form College and we have been told to ask you for copyright permission for our media coursework portfolio.We are doing a music video for 'Whatsername' by Green Day.
